A real connection to ownership.

From simple leaseback programs to shared ownership, J.A. Flight Services is positioned as the conduit to new Cessna aircraft ownership. Our team handles all the important issues, including operational control and aircraft depreciation, to provide the safest tax structure for your ownership without devaluing your investment. Owners are sheltered from typical partner situations, as well, ensuring a seamless, hassle-free experience.

All aircraft in our leaseback and ownership programs are new Cessna single-engine and turbine-powered airplanes, and each is equipped with Garmin G1000 avionics equipment, making it easier than ever to select an aircraft and fly.
With maintenance by the largest Cessna Service Center and Garmin Service Center in the Midwest, our owners' investments are protected and safety is given top priority.

Details:
Fractional/Co-ownership: This program is well-suited to the pilot who needs some depreciation but wants a partner. All SkyShares aircraft are held in individual limited liability corporations, or LLC's, and can be divided into as little as 25 percent ownership pieces. These LLC's are managed by J.A. Flight Services, and depreciation is passed through at the percentage of ownership. Leaseback revenue from the SkyShares program flows through at 85 percent of the revenue collected in the program. Members of the LLC can use the aircraft at retail rental rates, which are roughly 30 percent more than club rates. Of that, 85 percent is passed back through to the LLC.

Full Ownership with a Leaseback: This program functions under the same parameters as the co-ownership option; however, the ownership can be in an individual name or LLC. The leaseback agreement can be structured in the same terms as co-ownership, with the owner paying a retail rate and then receiving the 85 percent back. This option works well for an owner that uses the aircraft individually while his business rents the aircraft. The owner also can forgo the retail rate, collect SkyShares revenue and pay a monthly management fee along with aircraft expenses.
